GENIUS HOUR –
You get to decide what you’re going to learn about!!!
Pick a topic that you are interested in and/or passionate about but also a topic where you’re not already an expert.
We’ll be putting our ideas and new knowledge into Google Slides so that we’ll be able to share what we’ve learned.
Slides: Success Criteria
You must have a TITLE/INTRO slide.
Aim for 8-12 information slides.
Remember not to have too much text on a given slide.
No cutting and pasting other than images.
Keep track of the websites you use for your information. Put them on your last slide with the word “Bibliography” at the top.
Each slide needs a specific focus (early life, famous quotes, life challenges, etc.).
Ready to present?? Remember – Introduce the topic.
Talk about your slides/sub topics. (DON’T READ YOUR SLIDES!!)
Have some cue cards ready to help you for prompting.
Practice, practice, practice – with a friend, family member or mirror.
